AZ Team Roping Numbers was created to bring back a more localized, hands-on, common-sense approach to roping numbers.
It's not who you know, it's how you rope.

Utilizing producer support, along with representatives from each region of the state.

One consistent scale across the state, so every roper is measured the same way.

Every member's head and heel number is out in the open and kept current.

How the numbers work
Numbers used: 1 to 10, with halves and quarters when necessary.
1 = beginner · 10 = professional. #1's and 2's are reserved for TRUE beginners.
